oh my God!

we did it! we actually did it!

GPA saringan is finally over! all that hard work, all that staying back til late in school for dance and dikir practices, admin work til late at night, screaming and insults from cikgu, skipping classes and skipping school, all that we went through working towards the big day yesterday. there were a few problems here and there but ultimately the whole show was a success and now i can chill a little.i know we still have finals to prepare for and that will have to start now if i dont want the same problems for saringan to occur again but really, i feel a huge burden lifted off my shoulder.

and the whole event could not have happened without the following people:

my exco firstly, even though i've complained before that some of you are not doing your job but when we were put under pressure we managed to pull through together. sharini and yati, great job backstage. nadia you rocked sound and lighting, and the backdrop too. radhiah ticketing and marshaling went smoothly. fatein and samir great job in dikir and fatein, you did wonderfully in refreshments. not forgetting suhaila, you did an excellent job in putting dance together and doing hair and make-up for everyday. we were well together despite our differences and i'm sure we'lk rock finals.

my performers and emcees. you guys did fantastic and i'm sure you're proud of your own performance. thank you so much for commiting all that and energy, i know you guys were really tired from all the practices, especially during the last few days before the big day. you guys really put in your all, love you all for that.

to the seniors who came back to help, THANKS. really, you didnt have to but you did and you really made my job a whole lot more easier. special mention to fazli and mardi for coming back almost everyday to help with dance and dikir. you have no idea how much i appreciate it. i owe you a huge treat. thanks muchos!

special mention too to fahmy and hadi who are not nanyang students but still came to help us as well. you guys really were a big help. thank you so so much.

we'll be organising a picnic this saturday for all helpers, the exco's treat so look forward to that. thanks again all.
