heya.

i was just reading an article on blogging. here's a small extract from the article:

As the pool of blog writers has grown, perhaps inevitably so have complaints about quality. It's true that some bloggers seem to feel the need to log every sneeze.
But even drivel has its readership, Fake says. "Sure there are a hundred teenage boys typing, 'I'm bored. School sucks' every three hours, but their friends read them -- and that's their intended audience."
And not everyone is a natural-born blogger.
"It takes a specific set of skills: self-expression, the desire to connect with other people and a certain chutzpah," says consultant Amy Jo Kim, author of "Community Building on the Web: Secret Strategies for Successful Online Communities" .

"The people who do the really good Web logs edit."

what makes a good blog? i guess majority would consider a blog where the blogger expresses his intelligent views and opinions on a very deep topic like philosophy or politics as a GOOD blog. perhaps. but it's not fair to say that the lot of us, who blog about issues like what happened on the bus today or what that bitch in school did yesterday, are bad bloggers right? i mean do people really need a "specific set of skills" to say what's on their minds? where's the freedom of speech when people begin to judge whether you're a good blogger or not?

or maybe i'm just trying to make myself feel better by standing up for the trivial and mundane stuff that i post on my blog... =)

i went back to anderson on friday...met nani at amk station after french then we happily caught up with the latest gossip as we took our own sweet time walking to anderson. gossip sessions with nani are simply precious. i laugh so much when i'm with her. we were late. we actually got lost coz the building was new and we had to make one whole round around the school just to get to the hall. but the GOH was still giving his speech. i think his speech was like 40mins long. dont these people ever shut up? anw, throughout the concert me and nani were wondering where anderson got all the money for the nice sets and lights and effects from. we never had such nice stuff when we were there. but ooooooh, the malay dance was damn nice. i'm soooo proud of them. and their costumes were sooo gorgeous! damn i'm jealous. it was nice to see all the teachers again, mr chye, mr yu...even asnah! and mr kwok was there too (sharini, he says the costumes for Oz were nice...yay!)...

ooooh i went to watch star wars episode 3 on saturday...i was planning to go watch with my friends but i couldnt resist a free ticket...sorry guys...i dont think i've ever cried so much for a star wars movie. partly because of the extremely heart-breaking scenes and partly because it was THE END. but i my favourite episode is still return of the jedi. LOVE IT! i thought attack of the clones was the worst. the way they presented the love story between anakin and padme was abosolutely disgusting.

i'm skipping camp tmr coz of a performance at the woodlands library...GOD HELP US, REALLY...PLEASE!!!

i need to find a paperbag...
