liverpool 2-1 juventuswahahahahahaha. i bet none of you expected that! i didnt either. hahaha oh well. sid says it was a fluke. evil. it was not a fluke. they played well in the 1st half. the 2nd half was crap lah but who cares! we won! actually there's lots to worry about since juve has the away goal advantage. damn. Gerrard is refusing to be too downhearted over the away goal gifted to the Italians in the second period and is instead taking heart from an overall display which, he feels, eclipses anything the Reds have produced for many years. Gerrard said: "That was easily the best we've played all season. I would put it beyond the Arsenal and Olympiakos performance. Given the calibre of opposition, the first half performance may even be as good as anything I can remember in the last few years. "You have to look at what we've done. We've beaten one of the best teams in Europe. Juventus and AC Milan were everyone's favourites and not many would have given us a chance. But everyone stood up to the task and we've achieved a special result. "A lot of us are going to have to put in the performances of our career in Turin. "Every player has to be on top form that night. We won't be able to carry anyone, from the starting 11 to the substitutes. We know how hard it's going to be, but we should take a lot of confidence from this. "There's a semi-final place for us if we can put in another performance like last night. None of us have experienced a European Cup semi-final before and we're all desperate to make it happen."
